The answers to each NTC puzzle are taken from the NIV version of the New Testament.  Clues that appear in bold print are influenced by a study using the original Greek New Testament text.

Each crossword puzzle is from a designated passage and has a correlating fill-in-the-blank puzzle so that the designated passage of Scripture is completely read and studied, possibly even memorized.  The crossword puzzle answer key is located at the back of the book for reference.

There are two suggested approaches for study:

STANDARD APPROACH

1. Use the passage of Scripture in the NIV to complete the fill-in-the-blank puzzle.

2. Complete the crossword puzzle.  Answer choices are those words used to complete the fill-in-the-blank puzzle.

3. Check the answer key to verify your puzzle answers.

MORE CHALLENGING APPROACH

1. Complete a crossword puzzle. (If you have trouble, then read the NIV passage and then try again to complete the puzzle.)

2. Check the answer key to verify your puzzle answers.

3. Place each crossword puzzle answer in its correct position in the fill-in-the-blank puzzle.
